Pretty happy with tonight’s archery practice. Getting ready for the Somerset County Championship on Sunday. #archerylife
Archery practice tonight, Portsmouth round wasn’t that good, but I shot a round on a 40cm target, 2 points under my PB, happy with this final end though. More practice and I will get an all gold end.

I have found it slow to begin with but steadily I’ve built up a few good connections. Mine tend to be scale modelling and archery. Not much motorsports but I haven’t looked that hard though.
They look superb Neil. I really do like the circuit racer design.
Hi thank you, it was Mig Ammo moss, gently brushed on, which I then set in place with pigment fixer.
Played around with some moss pigments from Mig ammo, quite pleased singer with the effect. A bit of gloss varnish and some water effects to go on then some oils and maybe the snow #scalemodels #histscalemodelsb
Cheers Paul. At some point it will be finished.
Foliage on and now letting the glue and ballast fixer to dry for 24 hours

Thank you hopefully more updates later on today
Good session with the airbrush this morning. Getting the base and highlights down on the diorama. Now for the vegetation, details then some snow.
Thank you. I keep thinking, oh the next diorama will have fewer figures. Marder x10, Comet x 10, Matilda x9 + a camel, Panzer 3 x14. At least the SAS Jeep was only two figures 🤣🤣
Nice selection. I’m still working on, although not done a lot since last week, working on the winter Stug 3. The base has had some vms smart mud and a spray of black primer since the photo was taken. Hopefully some earth tones over the weekend.
Better slow and steady with each one being a learning experience for the next one. Than rushing and not learning or improving.
Last nights archery was a tale of two arrows, part way through a reasonable Portsmouth round a clipped one arrow against another, it made an ‘odd’ noise and this was the reason why
Good luck. Think positively about the script. It will be a winner.
Good news. Sending positive thoughts for a good recovery
After yesterday’s frostbite, which want my best, others within the group had some low scores as well, I had a good result in the indoor Portsmouth round, not stellar scores but my shooting felt fluid and the work on alignment is paying off.
Ah, I missed 2017 but have a boatload of photos from LM 2018. Might even have some of the Fords at the end of the race when they were all filthy with dirt and rubber
Amazing work Rich. Is that the 2018 version?
Our range this morning for our first Winter season round, normally called a Frostbite, rechristened a Wetbite following the opening downpour
Progress so far on the base, basic layout and groundwork to get the shape of things. Plus figures in mid paint, with the Snow products I’m going to use.
I’ve got a tub of the Tamiya snow, which bought as I’ve used both their grass and mud pastes before. And the AK micro-balloons I think they’re called & another AK snow terrain paste. I bought both the AK pastes after watching Nightshifts YouTube snow scene.
Come the morning I’ll send photos.
Having finished the winter Stug 3, painting the crew and building the diorama. Photos of progress in the morning, but it will be a snowy scene.
Looking good and that laser etch paper sounds a good idea. 👍
