2/ After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Europe shifted from pipeline gas to #LNG. In 2024, the EU was the world’s top LNG importer, with the #US as main partner (46%). But since 2021, EU gas use fell 20% and LNG imports dropped 19%. EU LNG demand has likely peaked.
