14 years ago, a 6 hour surgery that left me abdominally bisected and followed by weeks of radiation therapy is how I began my battle, with cancer.

I wish that game developers who make gorgeous games would allow a “tourist mode” so you could run around and soak in all the level design and art without the stress of dying.

I sent home edible gifts. Mini entremet cakes wrapped in edible paper instead of mirror glaze, “dirt blocks” macarons with dark chocolate ganache & a marshmallow center and a treasure box full of edible goodies like experience orbs and sweet berries

People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid

I’m not super thrilled about having to use a walker BUT I am super thrilled about these next steps (no pun intended) in the gradual return of my mobility since surgery
