Got the tuna melt 🐟 🧀 and it hits in all the ways you want it to.

There are more hefty sandwiches on menu but it was brekky so kept it light.

I was really excited when I found this Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 restaurant in F'scray.

It's great value 🫰 and I often roll the dice ordering and did this time. 🎲

Got fish pakora and a lamb curry. More mild than what I have had from here before but tasty!

Also had some satay sticks. They were nice, touch sweet for me but that's not uncommon for satay.

Tis the season for some slurping!🎄

I got a beef/chicken pho. Basic order on my part but a solid slurp. I enjoyed the lightness of the meat, not too fatty. 🐔🐮

They have a varied menu and have been around for at least 15 years. Can't go wrong.

I love borek. Like a lot.

This place popped up maybe 6 months ago. It's great having a bakery like this in Footscray.

They have chonky boreks, gozlemes, baklava, all sorts.🫓🍰

We also got some freshmade Turkish bread for dinner and it was great!

Also we had a sour soup and enoki soup starters. Both decent

First time trying this reasonably new Chinese/Viet vegetarian place.

I usually don't like faux meat but the "bbq pork", tofu and veggie hot pot was phenomenal. 😍

We also got a fried bun entree paired with condensed milk. Maybe best for dessert. 🤔

I need to branch out a bit on the menu but I just love that pork and rice!

The trick here is to time it to when it doesn't have a line. This was a post gym breakfast and a perfect start to the day.

I am a big fan of the pickled veg 🥕🥕🌶️🥬 with the sweet, flavourful porkchop🍖 and rice to soak up those flavours 🍚.

I haven't tried this place before but when I walked in, it looked like fish cakes were their game🐟

Pros: Fish was a nice variation and solid vege game 🥕🌶️🥒
Cons: Got sauce on my shirt 💧👔

Decent lighter option.

I have seen the banana fritter lady once since. But otherwise they have been gone since.

Yeah, it's really sad. Someone complained that they got sick from eating something from them and the council shut them down from selling. The community tried to say that they liked them but no success. 😔

The handy thing for places you go to a lot is that it is a one and done. But yeah set up could be better.

Shout out to the restaurants who have discovered the wonders of PayID 🙌

We pray that one day we will see those street vendors back in full on a Saturday morning. Those banana fritters are something else 🤤

I wouldn't say Curry Puffs are a staple of Footscray but for mine these are the best available.

Aroi (Thai) in the Footscray Market food court. Meaty 🐔, vege 🌽🫛, reserved on the curry flavour but flakey and light. Get on it!
