at least 2 people abducted in cicero, 2 in humboldt park/hermosa, 3 in garfield ridge. sightings in schaumburg + hanover park.

While this is going on here, ICE has been spotted on foot + in vehicles across SW + NW sides of Chicago. Can't verify reports rn, but also presuming suburbs. Yesterday was brutal. It's not lost on us they have more agents free for weekend kidnappings now with their facility secured by state police.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.   It wasn’t the feds — it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

He let them hide in his unit for the next 3 days.

moments ago, state + local charged the crowd outside the broadview ice detention center and detained three people.

it happened after someone tried to cross a street that isp has blocked off.

after the arrests, a state trooper warned the crowd that anyone in the street would be arrested.

earlier this morning, cook county sheriff’s deputies kicked me and a couple other reporters who were standing by ourselves off a public sidewalk because it wasn’t “free speech” hours yet or something idk.

You should have pressed Pritzker on how ISP has been treating protesters at the Broadview ICE facility. Local press have been covering the situation and ISP has been very aggressive and clearly siding with ICE
