Just got back from the grocery store, so depressing, the amount of USA products there. They just seem to be making the minimum effort possible. In a small town on the West Coast, there are only 2 choices.

I've been listening to a podcast series called Gloves Off by Stephen Marche. Very good, it seems to lay things out about Canada's present situation with the USA very clearly. I particularly like episodes 4 and 6, but they're all worth listening to.

Most upset bought a bag of chips on BC Ferrys only to find out not only is Kettle a USA company they're also made in the USA. Bad on me for not checking and extra bad on BC Ferrys for carrying them when there's lots of really good Canadian chips available.

I'm looking to get some green coffee beans for roasting. Would like to buy as locally as possible, BC Canada. I normally only buy 5 to 10 kg at a time, so the big importers are out. Any suggestions?
