I do not stand by her at all… hence why I said “controversial at best”. Her opinions are vile but HP is still amazing. It’s been a case of having to separate art from artist. I certainly wouldn’t read any new works by her, but I can still love the old.

I just read my 6 y.o. daughter the first chapter of the illustrated version of Harry Potter and we both loved it. I realize that Rowling is controversial at best these days, but the story she wrote is magical, even if “borrowed”.

Ok so a friend just told me X1 = X + 1. This doesn't make sense to me... The way it looks to me is X1 = X x 1 = X. He said Imposing Visage is the same. X3 = X + 3. Is this correct?
