Minnesota’s home for political problem-solvers, not party-liners. Forward Independence is about fresh ideas, real solutions, and leaving the tired old left-vs-right fight behind. Not Left. Not Right. Forward!
Police are tired. ICE agents are tired. And most importantly, Minnesotans are exhausted.

That’s a recipe for disaster.

Mike Newcome says it’s time to pause, lower the temperature, and set egos and partisan point-scoring aside for the good of our state.

Dr. King reminded us that our nation’s promises belong to all Americans. Progress happens when we choose unity over division.

The loudest voices on the extremes get so much attention that it can feel like our country is hopelessly divided.

But 45% of Americans identify as politically independent.

Most people aren’t shouting on cable news or fighting online. They’re ready to support practical solutions.

The future doesn’t belong to the loudest voices or the most powerful insiders. It belongs to people who still believe cooperation is stronger than conflict. Integrity matters and our communities deserve leaders who put the common good first.

Tragedy should bring out our better angels. Minnesota nice means respecting one another, leading with empathy, and treating our fellow Minnesotans based on who they are, not what side they’re on. We believe unity is still possible.

With Governor Walz out of the race, there’s only one candidate we know for sure will be on the ballot and on the debate stage: Mike Newcome.

He’s the only candidate with concrete plans to fix the generational mismanagement of our state’s tax dollars.

With today’s news that fraud in our state was even worse than previously feared one truth is impossible to ignore: it’s hard to govern in the public interest when you owe favors to special interest groups.

Mike Newcome is refusing special interest money in his run for Governor.

Congress knows we need to start paying down our national debt or there will be catastrophic consequences.
Congress also knows that legislation is needed to protect society from the dangers of AI and to support workers who lose their jobs while tech giants make billions.
They know, but do nothing.

The Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision opened the door for ultra-wealthy donors to spend unlimited money in our elections.

Citizens United was a bad decision, but Congress has the power to do something about it. Instead, it has never held a vote on a constitutional amendment to overturn it.

What’s frustrating for those of us who aren’t stuck in a partisan fever dream is that this won’t be called by members of his own party. When tribal loyalty shields clearly unacceptable behavior, our politics lose their moral grounding while setting a terrible example for our kids.

When it comes to clean energy for Minnesota’s future, Mike Newcome supports expanding nuclear power. Why? Because it’s one of the most effective ways to generate carbon-free electricity around the clock.
Nuclear energy works 24/7 to keep our lights on and our air clean.

This is the heart of Mike Newcome's leadership.
He and his wife Marie opened their home to three incredible young people from Ukraine and their courage helped inspire Mike to run for Governor.
Two of them are back in Ukraine now and supporting Mike's run while dealing with the challenges of war.

This is devastating: state agencies “tolerating, if not tacitly allowing” fraud and ignoring the red flags.

Jay Reeves for State Auditor and Mike Newcome for Governor have talked extensively about how they will institute systems to flag potential fraud before the money is spent.

Jay Reeves for State Auditor.

This role is important as Minnesota has seen repeated instances of waste, mismanagement, and fraud. Jay has real solutions, and his union background, military service, and proven ability to work with complex data make him the ideal person to protect taxpayers.

Party Co-Chair Phil Fuehrer nailed it. Public service is about working together to get things done.

Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms represent the best of what this country stands for.

As we reflect on their service, let’s recommit ourselves to building a nation worthy of that sacrifice.

Thank you to all who served and to the families who stood beside them.

Politicians spend more time chasing donations than solving problems. And when you think money is the most important thing, you're more likely to compromise your morals - because big donors usually expect to have a say in how you vote.

This is how it’s done!

When a Forward Party State Senator in Utah announced his resignation, the party had the right to choose his replacement.
But instead of letting a few delegates decide, they're giving every voter in the district a voice through a secure digital vote, no matter their party.

Our politics are paralyzed by corruption and hyper-partisanship, and we continue to prioritize the ultra-rich over working-class Americans. Those are all major issues that need to be addressed.

But while we do that, we can’t ignore this.
October 23, 2025 at 4:07 PM
We’ve reached a point where too many debates in politics are about winning, not solving problems.
October 22, 2025 at 8:23 PM
Real change isn’t coming for everyday Americans until we stop sending lobbyist-owned politicians to Washington.

Our party is different, our candidates answer to the people, not big donors or party bosses.

Workers get layoffs. Executives get leather seats on the jet.
The game is rigged because politicians trade laws for campaign checks.
