Movie: Heart Eyes (Netflix)

A welcome surprise as I didn't expect this to be a good movie. This never took itself too serious and it had some very good kills in it. Mason Gooding is an actor that I want to see more of. He was the show stealer for me.

The doctor came in to talk to my sister today and basically said that she's a walking miracle. Said she shouldn't even be here. He's never seen someone with those wounds survive.

Movie: Dead Silence (Unrated)

It's okay, but not great. For a little one though, it's the perfect horror film that relies on jumpscares. I had fun watching my little sister get terrified and constantly jump during the jumpscares.

The only thing I remember from it was that Kyle Gallner is in it. It's most definitely forgettable. I'm also not a fan of Jackie's Freddy Kruegar never calling anyone a "bitch". That's kinda Freddy's schtick.

The last act of this was pretty fun! Everything else unfortunately I just didn't care about. The actors and actresses definitely tried their best in this, so credit where it's due! This is just tolerable though.

I wrote the entire review out and accidentally exited out of Letterboxd 😭 lesson learned. From now on I'm writing my review in my notes app. Overall though, a pretty fun slasher flick! No nudity either so you can watch it with the kiddos. 👍🏽
