{THREAD} Which price point to target for each position? Which assets are the best as per underlying stats?

I have taken @ffscoutfpl.bsky.social data and converted everything into NPxPts. This consists of expected goals, assists, clean sheets, and DEFCON points.

1. Midfielders
I was way ahead of the curve
Keep an eye on Bournemouth defense. If their defense is fine, players like Senesi could become real options. Great DEFCON data.

People are (rightfully) mocking us for Southgate being linked to replace Amirom... but I'll say this.

The biggest single stumbling block at Utd isn't a system, style of play or the squad... it's the mentality.

Which is literally the one thing Southgate did wonders with.

Utd's Predicted XI for @emma1.bsky.social

Casemiro, Mazza and Amad all out so defence largely picks itself

I'd personally want Yoro in here over Shaw, but Amirom plays him EVERY time he is fit, so I doubt that happens

Don't be surprised if Mount starts over Sesko, who the manager hates

WC6 draft. What would you change?

This is a total embarrassment from Amirom.

If he won't change the system he has to walk.

I really, really like the guy but it doesnt matter if it's City or Grimsby. All it takes it to play 3 men against our 2 in midfield and win

It really is that simple

Our 3rd CB offers literally nothing. Ever.

Models are at their weakest point early season. Most predicted an easy City win.

Modeling Ange to Frank change is just not easy. Ask any modeler how they incorporated that change and you won’t get a good answer. Most would avoid answering that question.

Been thinking about why I didn’t consider Ekitike. But, with Isak’s imminent transfer there is no way I would have gone for Ekitike. Just the way I play this game.

I had Wirtz + Evanilson and Ekitike + Semenyo did the points 🤔🤔
August 15, 2025 at 9:05 PM
I did a lot of gymnastics to my team just to fit Wirtz in 🤔🤔

One basic rule I am applying right now

— Focus on DEFCON for defenders, sometimes more than their attacking chances.

— Don’t worry about DEFCON for midfielders, except maybe Bruno

Last decision.

Sels + Dorgu or Verbruggen + Neco

I am suddenly struggling with the Anderson pick in midfield. Is anyone better at 5.5m?
August 14, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Looks like this structure has become popular now. Things changed fast!
August 14, 2025 at 2:03 PM
CBIT points are the most reliable and predictable points in the game
August 13, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Not sure which 4.5m keeper and defenders I go with, but feeling settled with the structure
August 13, 2025 at 11:31 AM
Huijsen was a monster for CBIT. Senesi data was good as well. I don’t know what role Senesi plays. Whoever plays the Huijsen role will be interesting

Except Arsenal, I don’t trust many teams for CS early season. This is something that’s shaping my draft.

Evanilson on pens 👀

Justin Kluivert is taking longer than expected, and although the attacker isn't training with the team, Andoni Iraola says, 'he shouldn't be long'.

Ryan Christie and Luis Sinisterra are nearing a return after rejoining the group... Enes Unal and Lewis Cook are long-term.
