A perfect balance between the first to films, with a bit of sprinkle of Alien: Resurrection (from what I remember) and an apparent tie-in to Prometheus (which I'm never gonna watch lol).

Amazing visuals, camerawork, and presentation of the Xenomorphs.

Andy is my favorite synthetic lol ๐Ÿคฃ!!!

A great genre switch for the Xenomorph! The transition to atmospheric horror to action horror is well done. Got to see more of the monsters and how horrifying they can be when thereโ€™s more of them. As a guy who has played Halo and CoD, the movie definitely inspired so many aspects of those 2!

which film reminds you of your childhood?

I will always remember watching the 1986 Transformers movie too many times. Even though this was made WAY before I was born, the movie made a 10 year old me become a Transformers fan!

If there is ONE thing I love in all 3 films is Kevin Flynn (obviously) and how heโ€™s the pure embodiment of the โ€œWhat If God Was One of Us?โ€ trope.

Overall, Tron: Legacy really does hold the top place in this franchise. Itโ€™s definitely holding on to that spot til the end of time since there isnโ€™t a realistic chance of the franchise continuing. The visuals, themes, and music are very memorable compared to the other two.
