Did they realize that it's $50k pre-tax and that they have to pay income tax on it? Also, that they have to stay 5 years to get it all, and if they don't, they have to pay it back in full? If they stay for 3 years, they receive $18k and must repay $30k. Essentially tied to ICE for 5 years.
