Francel feels his heart drop to his stomach-- both the mention of the new bird and how Haurchefant is acting. But... He said Elian is okay...?

"I did... What happened?"

As Francel left his office, he hasn't expected to see Haurchefant standing there, nor for him to look so stressed.

"My love, what's wrong?" He questions, glancing around. "Is everything okay... Where is Elian?"
