Fresh from #LFF is my review of Nia DaCosta's #Hedda, a debaucherous riot of a film which sees Tessa Thompson in fine form. Seriously, I hope these cinematic Queens continue making movies together. They're special. My thoughts for @moviemarker.bsky.social.

🎬 @francescobacci.bsky.social believes Richard Linklater's #BlueMoon has moments of poignancy, but doesn't fully capture the emotional depth it's striving for

Zilbalodis’s Flow is a really moving, well-written & impressively animated film centered on a brave cat journeying through a post-apocalyptic world.

Leaving behind the anthropomorphic tradition of animated films, Flow’s a groundbreaking step forward for the genre. Thanks @curzoncinemas.bsky.social

The Holdovers

The biggest surprise of this year's London Film Festival is The Holdovers.

I had no expectations, but Alexander Payne knows how to create a fantastic comedy. The perfect Christmas-themed nostalgic and bittersweet movie.

Lff Diaries

All of Us Strangers stole a piece of my heart.

May December is the melodrama everybody should talk about. Such an interesting character-study.

Eileen was full of unexpected twists. Chaos, I loved it.

I want my the hours that Foe, Maestro, and The Bikeriders stole from me.
