My opinion is unchanged: Gen AI has a very significant impact on climate change. But it's not much different from the contribution of other ICT usages, and still way lower than the contributions of housing, transportation, and food.

I think this paper is mostly aimed at Google customers not using Gemini because of the fears about its climate impact.
