Yesssssss it’s so annoying ahahahahaha. Since I make most of these cakes for myself, I don’t care if they start melting, but the ones that I sell give me sooooooooo much anxiety bc I’m afraid of the cakes melting during transport, but once they’re out of my hands, it’s up to them to keep them cool

Like my s8 cake, I was new to piping pics so they were all transfers and I can tell a lot now when I look at it 😬 The only one that I truly love from that cake was the jacket bc I only did the base of the jacket as a transfer and added details on the front once I put it on. It looks neater that way!

It depends, if they’re super small, I have to pipe it on the cake. For this cake, I did use a transfer for the top writing, the blimp, the big plane, and the cruise ship, but everything else I had to pipe on bc they would have melted if I tried a transfer. Tbh a lot was melting bc my house was hot 🥲
