The Hawks are playing with jarringly little speed tonight. Wizards are beating them down the court, up the court, on cuts, to their spots in every way. This is wild. Washington up 31-8 with four a half minutes to go in the first quarter.

The Thunder defense started out way ahead of the league. And somehow, after a month, the gap has gotten EVEN LARGER.
OKC is allowing 7.5 fewer points per 100 poss. than the 2nd-ranked Mavs are. For perspective, that's the same difference as the one between DAL and No. 22 CHI.

Fun fact: Ever since I started writing in college, my father has never told me when he reads one of my stories. He just goes to the comment section, comments the same thing every time, “Gutsy,” no matter the topic of the story, and waits for me to notice the comment.

Amidst all the noise, Brandon Williams has been a nice under-the-radar positive for the Mavs this year. Much better passer within the rhythm of the offense. So damn fast and can look really good once he starts attacking the rim.
