Watercolour of one of my favourite pubs. Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. The best part of 500 years old and looking great. A few greats have drunk here like Dickens and a parrot who they have stuffed. When in London a must visit. #watercolour #london

Great pub in Hampstead. You find so many famous people drinking here. Sting, Liam Gallagher and even Dustin Hoffman. Lovely to paint as well (but I didn’t see anyone famous!)

Edinburgh. Perhaps the most romantic spot with the best view. The building is dedicated to Dugald Stewart who few people know. He was a philosopher. It’s a hell of a place to ponder the universe and to paint! #watercolour

A painting of a famous London restaurant. Sherlock Holmes himself dines here in “The Adventure of the Dying Detective”.

Simpson’s began as a coffee house and chess club in 1828, gaining fame for both its roast meats and its role in the British chess scene. Now purely food and so good it is.

The Victoria Tower is the tallest tower in the Palace of Westminster. Named after Queen Victoria, it was for many years the tallest and largest stone square tower in the world, with a height of 98.5 metres (325 feet). #watercolour #london

Florence Cathedral. The construction of the cathedral spanned over 140 years, starting in 1296 and finishing with the dome in 1436. When they started it was not possible to build the dome but they had confidence that future progress would nail it before they finished. #watercolour #architecture
