The Duke on the Green. Parsons Green was once a rectors bowling green with a pub on this site called Ponds End Tavern by 1657. This beauty strikes a handsome Victorian facade and was tiled by Fulham pottery. #watercolour

St John’s College,founded in 1511 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII on the site of an old hospital. Literally thousands are buried under it. Apparently ghostly screams became so annoying in the Gibbs building it is no longer used for students (allegedly) 😂

London’s smallest square Pickering Place can be found tucked behind Berry Bros. In 1824 it was home to the Texas Legislature (embassy) making this Texan soil for a short while. Texas was at the time independent but soon joined the Union. #watercolour

Luxembourg Palace is in Paris. Luxembourg is bordered by three countries: Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south. The Palace is Italian in style and contains Flemish art collection. It was also occupied by Germany. Soooo international! #watercolour

Cliveden House. built in 1666 by the 2nd Duke of Buckingham as a lavish gift to his mistress, the Countess of Shrewsbury. This sparked a deadly duel between the Duke and the Countess’s husband, the Earl of Shrewsbury, who died from wounds sustained in the fight! Property can be deadly #watercolour
