I truly dont know a lot about the genocide and mass displacement in Sudan. Its hard to get details there in the west. But what I can understand is:

- The RSF is armed and supported by the UAE, who has interests in resources in the country. Not a surprise given UAE is tight with Israel.

I am not sure what the answer is for the united states, but going back to the democratic party is a non starter for me. Maybe the others on our show have a different feeling.

I dont understand how anyone thinks you can make these sort of transformational changes within a zionist political party. I feel it is more zionist than anyone is willing to admit, not just the leadership either.

They showed in that moment, no matter how liberal or woke or democratically socialist they were, all fell in with this genocide. Many call brutalized local american protestors with police, violating civil liberties. Many profited off of this genocide.

The Democratic party commited a holocaust in Gaza and are actively supporting the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

Beyond moral objection, those in that party (and political system) broke all norms and laws in favor of this holocaust.

Anyway I dont think this is a hasan thing, I just think taking the path of democratic party reformation is insane. Its a liberal bourgeois party, not a workers party, and literally committed a genocide in Gaza. This isnt even an uphill battle, its running into the air like wile e coyote.

These people either a) don't see the victims of american empire as ppl (the last century of arab racism lead to the murder of millions in iraq and Palestine, at least) or b) They only want a better deal out of the American death state.

If you are veteran running for senate, demanding an ever larger military, even while acknowledging the affordability crisis in the country, should have been a non-starter for support. Our military and arms industry is the cause of the so much suffering on this earth, to continue it is madness.

And for what? Relative comfort at home, that is getting more and more impossible to attain in this declining death cult we call a country? What is the point of even having this bloated ass military if so many of us are paywall'd out of that comfort?
