Seraph-ized Castiel's trueform.

Kept the design largely the same as the original, because it's still the same angel. He's just a lot bigger and a lot more dangerous.

Seraph: fiery flying serpent. Character sheet of Seraph Castiel from the front. Compared to his original form, he’s darker in color (blood-marked), bigger in body (10-15 times), with more eyes and a serpentine tail. The tail has fins shaped like butterfly wings, and it’s covered in eyes from top to tip. More eyes, more power, less focus. Castiel’s grace, the leash connecting him to Heaven, is tangled and directionless. (Noose-like.) Castiel’s spiked halo is broken in two. He’s holding onto one half, positioning the halo just so that its spikes stab right through his hands, keeping them in place. It’s a self-imposed shackle. (Castiel is holding onto a broken painful faith.) Castiel’s armor is lit up, overabundant grace trickling through its cracks. (Castiel was not made to handle this much power.) Castiel’s blades are bigger and broader, carrying a heavier responsibility. The arms that were supposed to be fused with the blades are split at the elbow again. He wanted hands still. Castiel’s four wings are broader, suited for protection. Less of a sword, more of a shield. (Castiel no longer fights only to kill.) His wings are cracked, a sign of unstable grace. (Castiel is making choices he’s not certain about.) The butterfly shapes are more pronounced. Butterfly symbolisms: metamorphosis, death and rebirth, (misguided) hope.
