Yeah, right? It felt logic to alter the design of a lady bug to a skull but when I finished I had to think of zelda as well! Guess we walked down the same path 😂 (sry had to repost because of some major typos)

for real though it's the first thing i do. this is what my pages look like before i start drawing (although the balloons don't get tails until after i've penciled). it really helps me visualize the space tbh. and then again with paneling (second step)
