My Irish Twin is coming for lunch today so it’s Irish Stew and Colcannon. Using my Great granny Adeline’s recipe for both dishes. The sis is in for a surprise!! ❤️❤️🥰

Traditional Irish Colcannon
Colcannon is a very hearty mash that goes perfectly with a nice ham, corned beef, and lamb. Colcannon is very adaptable and very frugal.

These friendly little tykes usually migrate south in winter. Due to climate change they have stuck around for the last three winters.

Knitted hat for my niece almost finished. Just have to line it with fleece or a cotton fabric so it doesn’t itch her head.
The pattern for the stripes is by Shannon Larson on Ravelry. Her pattern is called “Give Me Stripes”.
The ribbing was my idea. Use 100% wool from Bartlett Yarns. ❤️❤️
