Just finished a game called Bye Sweet Carole and it has a lot of the same themes, minus about how men can also suffer from patriarchal expectations. In fact, most of the male characters are interchangeable, faceless blobs.

Also, it looks like Disney and has rabbits instead of foxes.

I got mine 2 weeks ago. Every time before it, I got chills, fatigue and body aches. This time around, I got none of it and just spent the next day feeling like I was starving. Ended up ordering and eating a whole pizza and still felt like I was hungry afterward.

Some guy I don't know just contacted me on messenger, asking me to get my sister to contact him. Currently trying to figure out if it really is one of her friends (I can't keep track of them, I'm a shut in and she's an extrovert) or if it is some weird phishing thing

It is also worth noting that the Pokémon world (in the anime, at least) canonically has free room and board in Pokémon Centers... not that it stops there from being homeless people.

This is all especially ironic when one considers that X/Y did have its' post game story be about a homeless child.

The general assumption is that they probably just googled "french park bench" for a reference and didn't realize the implication.

That said, I would consider it funny of them if they stealth removed these in a patch, now that people have noticed.

I have long held the decision that any tattoo I get will be a nerdy reference AND have a secondary meaning in case I stop being a fan for some reason.

That's why I have a triforce instead of a certain other triangular pattern and I do not regret it one bit.

Whenever some random customer tries to tell me about how someone they know had a bad reaction to getting vaccinated, it is ALWAYS for whatever vaccination we are currently advertising for that season and the person who had the reaction is ALWAYS a nurse.

She probably wasn't suffering the same nerve toxin as the participants, but there was nothing stopping them from the (very likely and did happen) violence that they would participate in. She did have to work together with one of her victims to survive a different victim's murderous rampage.

If their evil plan involves relinquishing their control over a situation and being in a comparable amount of danger as their intended victims, would them surviving the the end count as being a final girl type character?

My mom was 18 when she had my older brother. 35 when she had me.

After the 2nd in-air collision this year, I got worried for my mother, who was planning to take a flight during Summer to go to my niece's graduation. I convinced her to drive instead.

A few days after, there WAS a crash at the airport she would have used. Wasn't her flight, but still freaky

I choose to believe that a significant portion of US voters genuinely don't know or care to know a single thing about politics, they just vote for whoever they have heard of. If a name sounds familiar, it gets the approval, no questions asked.

That's my explanation for Reagan and Trump happening.

It is worth noting how many of those things were superstitions based on a single observed event with no scientific data or are entirely misattributed.

For example, eating/chewing garlic "wards against evil" because allicin has antimicrobial properties, but proper food prep works better.
