In Ranma 1/2 Nettohen ep. 99 there is a picture of fruit with Ryoga, Mousse and Ranma's faces on it along with a quote saying "To Work Together is a Beautiful Thing". This is a reference to the writer/painter Saneatsu Mushanokoji (武者小路実篤) and his artwork/writing.

Takayama: I guess it's the fact that she's laid-back and spunky. I also think her philosophical attitude despite being a high school student is appealing.
