A new FutureNeuro-supported study involving Prof Jochen Prehn identifies blood-based RNA ‘fingerprints’ that distinguish ALS from similar conditions and reveal ALS subtypes that could help pave the way for earlier diagnosis and targeted therapies.

🧠 FutureNeuro researchers at Trinity College Dublin have developed a HD-ESG system to record spinal cord activity in real time. It could help researchers better understand spinal cord function and study conditions like MS, and cerebral palsy.
