Eric Bergen has crafted an egg-shaped basket weave illusion from Eastern Maple. This piece, measuring 1.5 by 2 inches, was meticulously hand-colored by him.
This exquisite hollow creation was crafted by member artisan Tom Wilson. It measures 9 by 5.5 inches and is made from Figured Maple. To enhance its uniqueness, Tom applied green and blue aniline dye using an airbrush and finished it with wipe-on-poly for a glossy sheen.
Member turner Art Toews shows off this beautiful 11 inch platter. Made from a variety of woods joined together before turning, it offers a stunning display.
This lovely platter is made further unique with the checkboard detailing around the rim. Created out of Magnolia and sized at 11" x 1.5", Eric Bergen has not yet applied a final finish.
This hollow vessel or vase was fashioned from Douglas Fir and finished with Milk Paint. Tom Wilson has enhanced it further, sandblasting the exterior and using a stencil of trees to shield certain areas from the sandblasting and paint, allowing the wood beneath to remain untouched.

The June Presidents Challenge tested our skills, requiring creations with walls no thicker than 1/8 inch, causing many splits. Dave Adamson successfully crafted two 6-inch goblets from birch and arbutus, finished with wipe-on-poly. Nicely done! #presidentschallenge
