A common historical misconception is that people in prior epochs rarely lived to see 40. That's not accurate to say because infant mortality was amazingly high, which pulls the overall mortality figures way down. People regularly lived to ripe old ages... if they survived birth.

IMO, an important post for all to see. For some of us, it's a depressing but obvious read. For others, it's an apocalyptic realization (or you'll ignore it or not accept it). Either way, it's fair & accurate, should scare the daylights out of everyone.
