Lover of videogames and the people who make them. I post 99,9 percent videogame-stuff - past and present. Also a KindaFunny best friend.
So - according to FedEx, my #analogue3d arrives on Monday. I wanna play it right away, but I also kinda wanna left it unopened till Christmas Eve and recreate my cherished #ocarinaoftime memory from Christmas Eve in 1998. What should I do?

#ghostofyotei has one of the best intros and outros in videogames. It opens with a bang and leaves you with a feeling of sadness and pride for the journey you have been on. Well done @suckerpunchprod.bsky.social, well done indeed. My game of the year.

All other problems in the games industry aside, we truly live in a golden era of retro games. Just can’t get enough of modern #pixelart. #saintslayer

The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

The internet: „Console-gaming is dead“. Also the internet (mostly pc-users): “Valve releases a console-like #steammachine - I’m hyped and sold as fuck”.

Isn’t making gaming easier and more accessible just what consoles have been doing for 40 years now?

It's 20 years since @seanphillips.bsky.social and I exchanged a sketchbook back and forth in the mail, a drawn &painted call and response. INTERSECTIONS may be out of print but here is a flip through that sketchbook. You can still find the book out there :)
