30 years this week since a bunch of us 'pesky kids' returned for Hitz FM Melbourne's 6th broadcast.

Big tracks in September 1995 included Wrap me Up, Stayin Alive (N Trance), 3 is Family, Lost in Love, Mysterious Girl, Loops n Tings, Push the Feeling On & Let’s Groove (CDB).

Awesome music, a new CD and you can HEAR the first 30 minutes!

Hitz FM's 6th broadcast in September 1995 was short, yet action-packed. Check out the streamable recording of the first 30 minutes.

I would kill for a go of Abba! A year ago I got to play the Elton John pin - similarly colourful - and it was superb.

Pinfest is great.
I'm a local, but haven't been for a couple of years as I'm keeping it as a reward when my book is done.

Besides the ambulance-chasing, have you noticed radio ads in the U.S. are longer, than in Aus?

I've read they're mostly 60sec, rather than 30.

I bumped into "radio" Peter a few times at (then) KOFM in Newcastle. A genuinely decent fellow.

If I'd known back then, his influential support of radio comedy, I would have thanked him. He is missed.
