Agree, it seems very insecure when the person using the filter or editing is the subject. And I feel the photographer who does it is insecure about his or her photography.

Everything you mention is what I feel is acceptable for editing. I am fine with removing clothing marks for example, but sometimes even this tells a story and makes an image more real and intimate. 😘
