Man, I started mining Ethereum with just a single GTX 1660 😆 Those gas fees were insane, and block finality was terrifying!

When I discovered Algorand and tested it for the first time, I remember thinking, “So, this is how blockchains are supposed to work… interesting.”

That was an incredible move! So many new .algo handles popping up, thanks to the partnership with @nfdomains.algo.xyz. Also, Algorand is one of those things where once you experience it, everything else just feels secondary. Coinbase quests truly were one of the catalysts for this massive momentum.

I’ll never EVER complain when they say I was lucky.

First, it’s not easy to make them understand why I believed.

Second, even harder to explain how I ended up where I was when I first heard about it.

Lastly, I don’t deny my luck. I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve been blessed with.

There was definitely a long stretch where a loud part of the community was furious about the Foundation’s decisions, especially Staci’s.

But over time, most of the complainers moved on, and those of us who stayed got to enjoy the calm that followed!

I’m not sure how to feel. I kinda liked being with the bois, wondering wen Algorand would get its deserved recognition.

Now it’s climbing from 60th to 30th in under a month, probably heading for 20th.

I’m scared.

In the worst-case scenario, even if the majority of the supply is in dishonest hands, they’d be risking their entire bags just to attempt validating a false block.

Not only are their chances of success minimal, but even if they do succeed, they’d end up being the most damaged holders.
