Thanks kindly. I mean, I do have all the books and the fun is researching and trying to figure things out. I just wanted to remember to get the images out. - It's a long process, get a chance to get out, get pics, lightroom them, identify, post. :)

These are images from the Okaloosa Bay on the Woman's Veteran Memorial Park shoreline from Wednesday. Google tells me it's a Sanderling, not sure about that. He is very small, all by himself and feeding along the waters edge in the sand. #birds #bird #okaloosabay #floridapanhandle #shorebird

#birds #osprey A Osprey this morning at Okaloosa Island Beach having caught dinner or rather breakfast. I saw three different Osprey coming back from the ocean with this same exact type of fish in quick succession. Looks like they found the school near the surface. #okaloosaislandbeach

#birds #bird #littleblueheron Thought I put these up but I don't see them in my Bluesky feed. This is one juvenile Little Blue Heron. He's in the mottled stage of turning blue as his new feathers come in. Their first year they are white and gradually get a solid blue.

Some Least Tern babies and parents on a National Gulf Shores Beach between Navarre and Pensacola along the Gulf of Mexico this last week. Babies with hustling parents bringing food on a stretch of beach all their own. They were outside the fenced area and not being molested by beach goers. #birds
