Blue states don't have the power to do that, or more accurately- their leaders don't. The taxes they pay bypass the state to go straight to Federal government

So if you want that to happen, people collectively need to stop paying their taxes en masse.

We've got several VERY secure homes he can stay the rest of his life in. They even provide free specialized clothing for him and have routine patrols and watches.

This. Unfortunately the current guys in power are the same one trying to force it into everyone's throats and have zero interest in regulation.

I can see the benefit in AI in the future but the tech just isn't there yet and we haven't even tried to regulate yet. (1/2)

The reality is only the minority really want to help save them. The rest at best see it as the new fad and at worst see it as a distraction.

For people telling Newsom to not fund the federal government- he isn't, you are. The only way for the state not to fund the federal government is for the people to not pay their taxes.

Those bypass the state government altogether and go straight to federal, so he literally can't do that, you can.
