Two views of the Chief William Commanda Bridge from #Ottawa to #Gatineau.

This #bridge was built as a #railway bridge and opened in 1900. Today it is a pedestrian and cycling bridge and favourite link to #Quebec. It is closed all winter.

Gotta love #Ottawa: the sign says no #biking on the #bike path! I actually talked to the manager who put up this sign and he said it was because the paint markings are not in place and so it doesn't meet standards. He did acknowledge that cyclists will ignore it. So much for "rule of law".
