You could make a water-type pokemon with surf go up and down one part of a coast, and it would summon a digital cyber demon called missingno that could give you an infinite item of your choosing. Every child knew this from word of mouth and no internet.

Watched Avatar III yesterday, and wanted to neutrally comment on it's 48 fps. Visual media is a language that we have consumed our entire lives, and 24 fps is like the invisible air we breath. It makes sense that tinkering with the fps will upset people, because it changes the language of cinema.

Interesting insights on what goes into an indie animation production.
Did the math on @bossbugkc.bsky.social for the year. Honestly had been feeling pretty good year and expected to have a decent profit. Instead it turns out I lost a few hundred dollars. This does not include the initial investment of 5k I made when creating the YouTube shorts a few years ago.

Saw 50+ Rumis, dozens of Zoeys, a smattering of Miras, and whole groups of Saja Boys at my kids’ school’s Halloween parade today. It’s great, and I plan to wield them all as evidence the next time some animation studio opts for yet another reboot instead of an original idea.
