Purple Data from the STTNG episode, The Most Toys.
Holodeck Rococo from the STTNG episode, Hollow Pursuits. #startrek
The Star Trek computers give simple, truthful answers. They are reliable and don’t use flattery. They ask for clarification when they don’t understand. If this was what (optional) voice interfaces were offering I might be interested. LLMs can’t do reliability or truthfulness so they’re garbage.
I had this poster in my bedroom in the 90s It definitely glowed in the dark.
I just searched for “Janeway pecan pie” hoping someone made this image.

STTNG: The Naked Now. Everyone gets space-virus drunk.
STTNG Season One is good.
AI generated nonsense
Can the holodeck do video feedback effects?
I've been staring at that fabric in Picard's ready room and thinking about trying to paint match it for my living room... (almost seriously).
The Icarus Factor is perfect STTNG: Geordi, Data and Wesley palling around, talking about their spaceship family; Troi and Riker having imzadi time; Worf having his Second Rite of Ascension; and Riker and his dad sorting through their emotions with an anbo-jyutsu match. Nobody leaves the ship.
Harrison Ford does a bit of remarkable physical comedy in Working Girl (1988)
I’ve been doing the same and also just watched this episode recently. I keep noticing all the plants in crew quarters.
I wonder why they call them that.
When I first watched Nosferatu l, I assumed this scene was some kind of VFX animated face replacement. But Lily-Rose Depp spent time working to learn all the body contortion stuff. Yeah we are broken
This is amazing! Such a visual feast!
Even on Mario and Zelda games, shorter development cycles would just mean we get new games more often. Notably absent in the response is any mention of generative AI. Thank you Nintendo.
A physical model meant to look like CGI. Cool!
