True. I live overseas now but went back for 3 months last year and caught 2 Cardiff home games, they were full and loud. The most vocal fans though were the ever suffering Dragons. It takes commitment.

We like to work in generalisations but Cardiff are one of the best supported teams in the URC. They averaged 9k last year which is more than the capacity of both Scottish clubs and Connacht.

It's a scenario nobody seems to have an answer for, you are right. Birth rates are slightly lower in Norway where they give 49 weeks at full pay, Asian countries like Korea and Singapore have given bonuses for having kids and nothing's changed.

Ticket pricing may be tricky but the URC (and previous versions) and European Cup pages on Wikipedia have a decent amount of attendance figures I've used in the past, going back over 20 years. Not every match but most of them.

Yes very much so. The main WOL offender on their podcast spent 15 minutes the other week discussing his opinion that there should be 3 clubs and why some disagreeing were wrong. That's the not the job of a journalist, it's for a blogger or columnist.

The crossover blame/credit game can be fun. I've renewed 2 UK passports from overseas in the last year, it's really fast now and the process so easy and updates you every step. I know that fix was started under Sunak (with the current CEO of the WRU). Labour will get the credit.

It's an insane salary range for that job responsibility. Minimum wage in the UK now pays 24k for a full time job. I think you are right about an internal appointment.
