I love the idea of those big US screens above the patient stretchers. Great for teaching 👌

My colleague Michael Jew has brought cryo to our shop. Main use has been intercostals for rib fractures, and it has been a game changer! I'm sure this will spread. See the bottom of the listed page for a short synopsis of his innovation project:

Ideal to have 1 block room nurse : 2 patient ratio, as well as an anesthetic assistant per anesthetist performing blocks.

Personally I like Sonosite. We have the XPort, but newer PX looks great. How does Mindray compare?

Maybe just a question in general but what’s the status of Cryoneurolysis? Who’s doing this in their practice?

Eg:
Geniculate nerves for TKA
Suprascapular n for shoulder
Amputation pain
Intercostal nerves for thoracic surgery

Agreed. So many random accounts floating around, who knows how many were actual people.

I deleted the X app because it became too filled with garbage and click baity threads. Waste of time.

One use I am exploring is uploading a large number of studies on a particular topic and asking it questions and mining the outcome data. Also trying it to quickly assess risk of bias domains.

I want to crowd source a thread of the:
- best layout/environment
- best equipment
- optimal staffing setup
