Pt1

Dormant crusaders of a pre-Queens Grineer faith, built for a holy war they would never see, left adrift in the Void as Doom-Seeds, never to take purchase in Tau soil.
Bastardizations of Ballas' Warframes, they were left unfinished and seek their true war shape.

Scolpirenauts, the long dormant crusaders of an extinct pre-Queens Grineer faith, built for a holy war they would never see and left adrift in the Void as Doom-Seeds, never to take purchase in Tau soil.

They were made in secret, bastardizations of Ballas’ Warframe process that neglected use of the Helminth, deeming the parasite affront to the ideals of the faith. Utilizing mysterious alternatives, each Scolpirenaut rebirth required a year of manual cell-by-cell replacement, only survived by drinking of a “Void Wine” to preserve the mind.

The final result is a crude biomechanical monstrosity, built to endure and adapt to physical trauma like a block of bellicose clay.
With zealous hearts driven even madder by void exposure, Scolpirenauts enthusiastically seek extraordinary opponents and challenges, booming with poem and chant.
To be whittled by war into a divine shape is their goal, much as the mythologized Progenitor of the Grineer did in the slaying of a Sentient in their fable.

Frustrated by not only being denied the Old War but the New War as well, the Scolpirenauts seek a surrogate foe, a carver equal to their true "sicken-boned" enemy, a hammer of void and an anvil of sword-steel flesh to forge their untested body.

The Tenno would do.
