Perhaps there could be occasional wither skeleton horsemen in Nether fortresses (with hit and run behavior so they don't become piglin brutes in a mid-game area), or a small chance of larger phantoms that witches ride on (which actually works currently).

The new undead mounts make for some very fun variation in our selections of rideable mobs.
Are there any other mounts you'd like to see as undead variants?
If so, what would they be and how would they be found?

If the most significant changes to the spear for this whole drop are just going to be related to lunge, Mounts of Mayhem will remain my favorite drop...

But it wouldn't change the fact that it would by far be my biggest nitpick I've ever had for a drop. Please, address the spear's base damage.
What are your hot takes on Minecraft weapons and similar items for combat?

Mine is that some enchantments are just not that good, and there's not much that can be done. Yes, that includes lunge. I think they should just leave it as is and improve the spear's base damage at this point.
If they add hoglin jockeys in the Nether, you know actual threatening ones rather than cosmetic interactions, I'm going to suggest a Nether ominous event. I'm not sure if this drop has enough space for it at this point, but still. #Minecraft
I think spears would be good if they dealt 1 more damage, with the jab attack at the very least. This would make the exchange between more reach and less damage feel more in scale with combat test snapshot balancing. The charge attack is perfect though!
What aspects of the spear would you tweak or change (aside from the lunge enchantment. In my opinion, it was always going to be much more niche than the spear itself)? #Minecraft #MountsOfMayhem

A whole flock of zombie piglins!!!

I call them a flock bc it feels like I'm walking through a gang of geese! One wrong move and I'm swarmed!!

Sure, they're mostly passive, but what happens when they're NOT makes them super intimidating

Like the Nether-Borg Collective or something, no thanks ✌
Which mobs in Minecraft can be surprisingly scary or intimidating when you encounter them in game?
And they also have a very weird mouth when angry!
Sure, the texture of the camel jockey isn't so scary, but it's one of the very few hostile encounters that towers over the player and persues them in close combat. It adds to the intimidation factor more than a distant ghast could, even though one is technically bigger.

What are some examples of Minecraft features that aren't very useful, but you really like anyway?
Aside from all the mounts, the camel one easily being my favorite, I also like how certain mobs could use spears and even counter flying players taking advantage of the spear's damage boost.

What other PvE additions or changes do you think might show up in this drop? #Minecraft
It's not quite a hot take because I've seen people excited for the bogged as 1.21 was in the snapshot phase. It does have an awesome texture and inflicts a dangerous effect, along with having a different health pool and attack rate.
Warm take, but I'm actually fine with most of the basic enemy retextures/remodels. In the end, it really depends on what they do. For example, the husk is literally just a zombie that doesn't burn, while I find the bogged and parched nice changes to spice up combat. #Minecraft

Since this is the Mounts of Mayhem Drop, This would be the perfect time for show off some new powerfull mobs they ride into battle in the harsh Badlands and the Frozen snowy biomes
Having such a tiny valid spawn space is not only painful for ravagers, it makes it much more likely that raids will spawn somewhere awful like a cliffside or within a jagged cave. If anything, giving them actual room to spawn is even higher priority than for other wide mobs.
It is funny how Minecraft raids were added in 1.14, and are still janky today. Despite being able to spawn ravagers, raids can literally just happen in a 1*2 space, when literally every other method wide mobs spawn requires a 3*3*2 (or more) space to spawn.
Some people are complaining about all the retextures in 1.21.11, but the new camel husk honestly makes me respect the original camel a lot more. It's very nice to see the enemies also use this mob's signature trait to their advantage!

Snapshot 25w44a brings us two new mobs, lets you ride across the river, fades in loaded chunks and finally patches up the gaps in items! Check it all out here! #minecraftemployee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzoFl5Lodeg
It would be cool is phantoms spawned (almost) exclusively in mountain peak biomes, sort of matching how they were described as a candidate for the 2017 mob vote. I know 30 blocks was considered "high altitudes" back then, but current mountains stretch well past that height today.

I've heard that people are engaged in the creeper topic from the Minecraft youtube series! JFYI, my comments in that segment are an excerpt from a longer rationale around our creative guidelines and game design. It's true that if we were designing the creeper today ... (1/2)

... we would likely put guardrails around its destructive behavior. Maybe limits to where and when it spawns? Maybe it would be triggered by something specific the player is doing? In any case, the creeper IS iconic, and it's one of the few monsters that is actually scary. (2/2)
Just noticed with this snapshot that there is still an aspect of zombie horses that is unused, which is the baby variant. The new camel husk doesn't have one.

And I believe the same applies to skeleton horses too.
