New tropical mayhem and beauty from the crime thriller series. This one's from 1974, and set on Australia's biggest island national park, where I lived for nearly a year. Some things in the story happened for real.

The Great (2020-23) fucks and kills with gusto and humour. Written by Tony McNamara who co-wrote The Favourite. The Libertine (2005) is real good too

I've not read Sam Fuller. It looks good. Johnny Rossellini bio is as wild as you'd hope it would be. I've actually read the Mitchum bio 3 times now. It's so much fun. A bit sad Lee Server has gone.

Have not seen this yet, but I liked Peter Capaldi's Oscar winning film, Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life, a little gem of absurdist whimsey with, of course, Richard E Grant as Kafka.

Love Chameleon Street, what a mind fuck it is. Suburra was an intense and nasty read. the film did it justice.
