Is a great way to remind yourself that your friends love you! And want to hang out with you! (And sometimes you have to clench your teeth and repeat it as your brain says mean things bc Your! Friends! Love! You!)

Because in a way, listening to anxiety all the time is robbing us of good experiences. Our friends do not hate us or find us annoying (that’s the mean voice talkin). And each time you have worries that crop up, reminding yourself of that fact (even if you have to fake it till you make it at first)

The best way someone explained it to me though was that friendship is having the space to be annoying and fallible and human and still being loved. And the best ways to deal with those kinds of thoughts are to sit with them, acknowledge them, and then realize the anxiety is warping reality.
