Omen deviate from other blighted entities found within the Deep Forest, as they do not seem to interact with any organisms, blighted or not. Instead, Omens appear whenever a high concentration of Blue Blight is around the region, followed by immediate loss of contact with the expeditioners.

Whole Vtuber model, both art and rigging, done for @thedroz.bsky.social ! Absolute doozy but got some new milestones in rigging done with it! Got multiple eye patterns for expressions, large motion range and 55 eyes on the body, all optimised for easy running :> #VGen #VGenComm

Depth Shrikes have a symbiotic relationship with Sunken Snares. Large feelers on the head are light-sensitive, alerting the shrike of activated Sunken Snares and its location through using the many eyes. Depth Shrikes drag prey into the waters and impale them on the flooring's spires.

Diving Bells are another species of the Blue Blight originating from a once-extinct organism. These entities move across the Old North Sea's floor and emit constant soundwaves, disrupting the equilibrium of nearby non-blighted organisms, causing them to swim deeper when trying to resurface.

Sunken Snares are one of the first creatures found in the sea below Doggerland, seeming to originate from the Anomalocaris. Bioluminescence is minimal when idling, but when in contact with non-blighted organisms it latches on and glows to signal to other entities to target as well.

[2026 Calendar Progress - September] Fire men appear towards the south of The Netherlands as shades wreathed in flames, often spotted during nighttime. One common origin in particular is that a fire man is a punished human that moved a boundary stone, made to eternally carry said stones with them.

[2026 Calendar Progress - August] The Lamp Cats of the Dutch isle Ameland are said to appear when the moon has a halo, where these cats can grow to the size of cows with large saucer-like eyes that glow in the night, chasing people beyond the shoreline to drown.
