I got into Libertarianism as a young adult. What I found was a huge number of people desperate for feudalism. Believing they will become Lords and Knights. (They won't)
“If you believe the MAGA postliberal project is real, then liberalism must understand MAGA is not a reaction to economic consequences or “elite failures,” but an affirmative preference for illiberalism.

Liberalism must stop apologizing. Stop excusing. And fight.”

Liberals: Stop the Masochism

Hegseth is a serial murderer and should be treated accordingly.

Trump sure does pick them:

Secretary of 'War': A serial murderer
Secretary of Health: A recovering drug adict who rejects modern medicine.
Director of National Intelligence: A Russian asset.
Atorney General: About to be disbarred

If there was such a thing as "native Brits", the world's most widely spoken langauge would be Welsh.

But it's not because the original small boat migrants, the folk we still think of as 'Anglo-Saxons', weren't pushed back into the sea.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

Why is The Forward entertaining a pardon for Netanyahu? You do not, ever, pardon corrupt leaders. No agreement you make with them will survive the pardon; no power that they think they have with which to hurt you will survive a conviction. Go destroy. forward.com/opinion/7865...
Netanyahu’s pardon request is a staggering act of hypocrisy — and it should be granted, with one condition
Netanyahu’s bid for a pardon raises fears about accountability, political pressure from Trump, and the future of Israel’s democratic norms.

In case people are wondering how QAnon got it so wrong, they didn't.

QAnon was designed to discredit the very real Trump pedophile rape story by floating an utterly absurd set of claims based on what was an obviously stupid interpretation of the documents Russia hacked and published.

Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

Is "militaristic glory" really that much a part of far-right politics in the 21st-century West (as opposed to Russia), which seems to me more about opposing mass immigration from the Global South, than about territorial conquest?
Over time historical memory of a distant mid-20th century will have as little grip on contemporary culture as the First World War, Waterloo or Agincourt.

Those who want to protect democracy will need to find new ways of pushing back against myths of fascist supremacism and militaristic glory.

He hasn’t. The online far right, despite failing repeatedly to raise a mass mobilisation have driven the agenda, and Farage has been dragged with it. 🧵

What I'd like to know is why Vote Leave offered £625,000 to this young lad in particular?
Crafty would probably call his earlier self an extreme radical communist

(Before he got that juicy £625,000 from Vote Leave which made him realise at just 22 quite how lucrative the hatred and racism grift can be)
