Day at St Aidans to catch the 2 Glossy Ibis sighted on Middle Ings. Another miss but an excellent day never the less. Called in at Fairburn Ings on way home - greeted by scores of Redwing.

Down Embleton Bay to Stag Rocks. Treated to many birds in flight, at sea and on land... including this Purple Sandpiper. Thoroughly enjoyed the day despite the cold and rain 😁 #birding

Fab. Guided day in the North East around Duridge Bay. Waders, Wildfowl including Long-tailed and Scaup, and flocks of Stonechat and Twite. Ended the day with a Starling Murmuration over East Chevington. Thanks to excellent Alan Tilmouth our guide. #birding

Excellent day at @nosterfieldnr.bsky.social managed by the Lower Ure Conversation Trust. Lovely people to chat to and plenty of birds including this Red Necked Phalarope spinning away. (I need a better camera!)

Day at @yorkswildlife.bsky.social North Cave Wetlands. Well on with phase 2 now and good to see plenty of autumn visitors have arrived and wildfowl beginning to lose eclipse plumage. Well worth a visit.

Another Reserve knocked off. A day at Blacktoft Sands @rspb.bsky.social Excellent of which the highlight was a flock of 100 Pink Footed Geese coming into land.
