Okay, but, considering he’s a fan of the Horizon games, can you imagine if they got John Carpenter involved in the movie!? 😂 I’m still shocked he wasn’t given the reigns to make the Dead Space movie he really wanted to make! That really would have been a perfect match!

Honestly, as much as I adore Horizon, I’m really gonna try to not let myself get like, unhealthily concerned or unsure about things like the franchise’s future, because good god that isn’t good for my mental health! 😅

Heartbroken that, per his social media accounts, Drew Struzan has left us. His poster and album art was quite simply shorthand for imagination for countless young people.

E.T. Adventure poster, 1990. I still have one of these hanging in my childhood bedroom.

Star Wars Special edition triptych, 1997. I remember seeing all of these in the paper as each film was re-released and just felt a burst of energy those mornings.

I feel off this morning, but I don’t know exactly how or why? Like, it feels like that type of nausea caused by nervousness, or maybe even like a slight case of feeling depressed, but I’m…not exactly feeling those? Maybe it’s something physical like a slight bug? Either way it’s weird…

It just always becomes a little much for me when shipping becomes like…the all consuming aspect about character(s). Like when people reduce a faceted character down to just who they’re with? Like it’s undeniably a part of the character, but not the only part? This all may just be rambling lol, but…

Like, I’m not much into the shipping scene for the most part (Horizon or otherwise), but like, even if I was, the way people act online about it would deter me from ever trying! Like, I don’t have an Aloy “OTP”, but there are some I’ve grown fond of thanks to artists in the fandom (like you Kelso!♥️)

WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO BE SO WEIRD ABOUT SHIPS!?!? It’s the moralizing that’s really weird of “My ship is better in a moral sense because….blah blah blah.” Like, unless there’s something inherently like….problematic about a ship, bringing the whole “morality” thing into shipping is….weird.
