people doing research: putting a free-text box on your quantitive survey does not make it "mixed methods" it makes it quantitative with a free-text box

oh man I love frog cakes

Somehow the wonkiness is even more appealing
and incredibly disrespectful of those who have already spent the time and $$ on the match process for spots here
it's a very narrow view of who would want to stay and practice here in Ontario
also a lot of those affected are already Canadian citizens (anyone who didn't do high school in Ontario) or permanent residents, whether they trained abroad or not. Potentially our province now misses out on some great people who will match elsewhere in the first round
I mean, they will still be able to participate in the second round of the match. But this is going to make Ontario residencies unattractive, potentially even for Ontarians, because they pulled this so late in the game when people have already started the match process
Wait, what?

This rule makes ZERO sense
I want every single elected Conservative and their staff to stand in a queue for at least eight hours to experience what Ontario residents have to go through to get a family doctor. Whoever decided this hare-brained policy deserves to go through that.
