That's great and all but until all the extra tech is removed I won't purchase an EV ever. If the companies can track my every movement in the vehicle,change performance characteristics,lock/unlock it at will,even brick it then it's never really MY car and thus becomes useless to me.

I kinda dig watching older shows and see the commercial breaks of the time. In rare instances I actually remember the very commercials being shown during the particular show. A weird kind of nostalgia.
