The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

Alex Pretti, the man fatally shot by Border Patrol Saturday, was a local intensive care nurse dedicated to caring for veterans.

“Alex wanted to make a difference in this world,” Pretti’s family said in a statement shared with The Post.
