Let's face it, one candidate would have been productive but boring, and the other was a clown that created entertaining chaos. It was a good pick... if you don't care about reality or people around you!

Social media, TV series, reality tv, game shows, tiktok, facebook, etc... All has created a society that thrives on instant entertainment and takes away the desire to be truly informed OVER being entertained! And yes, i completely get the irony of me posting this on social media!

The driving force behind the last election was a society that has binge watched reality TV, for a couple of decades, craving entertainment over competent government and truth, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "reality" TV and social media is ruining the world!

Although as a white male with many undeserved privileges, I'm probably going to be "fine" (🤔), I worry about those trembling in the margins...

Using things like government issued documentation, laws/bills being written and/or that have been passed, and verified multiple corroborating sources. I have to admit, it gets very exhausting. Sometimes, I do wish I just didn't give a sh*t. 🙄 But, I just can't give up.

But even when consuming my trusted media sources, I never base my opinion fully until I have followed the references for myself and verified as much information as I possibly could.

Now I know not everyone has the time to do this like I do, but I only have a few trusted media sources. And those sources always provide multiple credible references.

We, as consumers obsessed with entertainment over content, have shaped the news into what is going to be "entertaining to watch" instead of better information!

Up until now, every POTUS has been a "protect and serve the USA" driven president! Even if bad or misguided leadership, they never put themselves "up for sale", at the U.S. citizens expense, so blatantly!

Would you be mad if people you love fear for their safety for only existing? 🏳️‍⚧️
